Sam Wilkes - WILKES

I love this Sam Wilkes album so much. Somehow I'm always reminded of it in late autumn / early winter. I find it massively comforting and the production feels as important to me as the playing. There is a beautiful woozy quality to it I can't quite get enough of. And when Gendel starts wailing on Hug? Ugh, bliss.
